Story
Hi, I’m Foivos!
This week, I’m taking on the challenge of running 100km to raise money for FareShare, the UK’s largest charity tackling hunger and food waste.
Right now, millions of people across the UK are struggling to access basic meals, while thousands of tonnes of perfectly good food are going to waste. That’s where FareShare steps in. They rescue surplus food from across the supply chain and redistribute it to *over 8,500 charities and community organisations, who then turn it into meals and food parcels for people in need.
These organisations don’t just feed people, they also provide vital support for those facing challenges like homelessness, domestic abuse, unemployment, and mental health struggles.
For every £1 raised, FareShare can redistribute enough food to provide 5 meals. That means your donation, no matter the size, can have a huge impact.
I believe that no one should be going hungry, especially when there’s more than enough food to go around. This cause is incredibly important to me, and I’m so grateful for your support as I take on this challenge.
Let’s help turn food waste into hope, together.
Thank you so much!
Foivos
