Story
As many know, a Trek is not going to be something that comes naturally to me or something that I will enjoy. If I didn't have a dog, I think I would do about 500 steps a day. Anyway...
It is time to push myself and raise some money for an amazing charity. A chartiy I am involved in on a daily basis and really know the impact it makes on saving and changing lives.
The Cricketers' Trust was created to support the life-long health and wellbeing of past and present cricketers and their immediate families. The Trust funds life-changing assistance through expert advice, rehabilitation programmes and a dedicated 24-hour Confidential Helpline, all vital services that hikers will be using as inspiration throughout three day adventure.
Thankfully, I am not doing this alone (mainly to ensure I come back in one piece and don't get lost)! My uncle, Pete Ford, is joining as chaperone and trusty trekker.
Together we are looking to raise over £3,000 for this outstanding charity so please get behind me, any donations are hugely appreciated!
