Story
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit our page - and for your continued support. It truly means everything to us.
Itās been two years since our last team challenge for Dravet Syndrome UK, and the Truelove family felt that 2026 was the right time to step up again!!
This May, a team of 37 of us are taking on ā5K Every Day in May for Dravet.ā
Thatās 5km, every single day - however our bodies allow - totalling 155km.
Itās tough. But itās nothing compared to what families living with Dravet face every single day.
Over the years, Freddieās incredible army of supporters has raised over Ā£120,000 for DSUK. That support has helped fund vital research, raise awareness, and provide support to families navigating one of the most complex and devastating epilepsies.
And weāre not stoppingā¦
This year, we run, walk, row, cycle, surf or crawl our way to 5km - Every. Single. Day.
As always, we will be asking the charity to contribute the majority of our donation directly to their research fund. Because the reality is, research is what changes lives.
Research is what gives hope.
Research is what will ultimately give Freddie, and so many others, a better future.
Many of you know Freddie and the challenges he faces. Seizures are unfortunately, still a regular part of his life despite trying 18 different medications - along with the injuries and complications that come with them.
And yet⦠he never complains. Not once.
He just keeps going.
Freddie-Bo is the reason behind everything we do. Heās changed our lives, as he does the lives of everyone who knows him, in ways that are impossible to put into words. A gentle soul with the biggest heart, and we are proud beyond measure. He shows us that, with hope and belief, the impossible is always possible š« He inspires us every single day to show up, be brave, stay present, and keep pushing forward.
So this year, weāre going all in on what will make the biggest difference - funding research through Dravet Syndrome U.K.
For Freddie.
For every child.
For every family living this reality.
We truly believe that one day, we WILL find a cure.
Great things are achieved by a series of small things brought together.
Thank you, as always, for standing in Freddieās corner š
