Story
On 27 June, I'll be taking on a walking challenge to support NASS (National Axial Spondyloarthritis Society) as they celebrate their 50th anniversary.
For 50 years, NASS has been providing support, advocacy, and hope for people living with axial spondyloarthritis (axial SpA) — a painful, long-term inflammatory condition that can have a huge impact on daily life, mobility, and wellbeing.
To mark this milestone, NASS has launched its "50 for 50" campaign, with the goal of raising £50,000 in its 50th year. The funds will support the Going for Gold project, an important initiative focused on improving care for people whose axial SpA is particularly difficult to manage.
The project will bring together patients, clinicians, and experts to review current practices and develop real-world approaches that can improve treatment and quality of life. Every pound raised helps turn knowledge into action and action into hope.
I'm walking to help ensure that people living with axial SpA can continue moving forward—not just today, but for the next 50 years and beyond.
If you're able to support me, any donation, big or small, would be greatly appreciated. Together, we can help fund research, improve care, and make a real difference to the lives of those affected by axial SpA.
Thank you for your support.
