Update: WE DID IT!!
Thank you so much for your support!
Hi everyone!
I’m thrilled to share that this April, I’ll be taking on the WWF Isle of Wight Challenge—an unforgettable adventure supporting vital conservation work.
I’ll be trekking 26 miles along the island’s breathtaking coastal paths, braving the chilly April waters to sea kayak, and working with Project Seagrass to help protect and restore seagrass meadows—one of the most powerful natural tools in the fight against climate change.
As Dr. Richard Unsworth, Associate Professor in Marine Ecology and co-founder of Project Seagrass, explains:
“There is real hope: protection and restoration of habitats like seagrass meadows can be a key part of the solution in tackling climate change… to rebuild marine life at the scale and the speed required to fight the biodiversity crisis and the climate emergency, we need to think bigger, whereby we bring degraded habitats back to life at the same time as creating vast new habitat in support of coastal livelihoods and community resilience.”
This cause means a lot to me, and any donation—big or small—is truly appreciated. Every penny goes directly to WWF to support their critical work in protecting the natural world and tackling climate change.
I’ll be documenting my journey and can’t wait to share the experience with you all. Thank you for your support!
