Story
We’re Andy and Gaz — two dads, two mates, and now two marathon runners (hopefully) behind The Autism Dadcast.
When our children were diagnosed as autistic, our worlds changed. Not because of who our kids are — they are incredible — but because we were thrown into a system that’s underfunded, misunderstood, and often overwhelming for families like ours. We started the Autism Dadcast to share what it's really like navigating this journey as dads — from the chaos to the laughter, the advocacy to the exhaustion.
We never imagined the response. Messages from parents across the UK and beyond, saying “I finally feel seen” or “Thanks for helping my partner understand.” We knew we had to do more.
And so... we’re running the London Marathon 2026.
We’re running for every family still waiting for a diagnosis.
We’re running for every child who’s been excluded because the system doesn’t fit them.
We’re running for every dad who feels alone in all this.
Most of all, we’re running for Ambitious About Autism — a charity fighting every day to improve education, opportunities, and understanding for autistic young people. Their work genuinely changes lives, and we’re proud to support them.
This isn’t just a race for us. It’s a mission.
If you’ve ever listened to our podcast, sent us a message, or simply believe in what we’re doing — please donate. Every pound raised will help push us across that finish line and, more importantly, help build a better future for autistic children and their families.
Let’s show the world what happens when dads rise up for a cause that matters.
