Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Yes, I'm doing to it again. On March 1st I'm running another 100 miles around Silverdale Country Park raising funding for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. We’ll be doing to this run in memory of the great Rob Burrow who’s campaigning and positivity inspired and gave thousands hope that MND one will be defeated. MND isn't incurable, it's just under-funded.

The last 100 mile in January 2023 raised over £7000 towards a specialist MND Centre in Rob’s name in Leeds . This time I would like to raise even more funds.

In 2023 I ran 24 loops, totalling 100 miles in 24 hours. That’s my own challenge again this time from midday on Saturday 1st March to midday on Sunday 2nd March.

The best thing about the last challenge was everyone that turned up throughout the run to support and run a lap. Let’s do it all again. The spirit of the running community got me round the park. It would be amazing if you all turned out again.

Thank you all your support and we will beat this disease together.
