Story
Last October my sister Helena passed away from multiple organ failure and infection. Helena has left a great void in our lives and hearts, and especially those of her four children.
During the last few years of Helena’s life she had help with her addiction to alcohol from friends and family and I would like to do the same to help change someone else's life with their struggles of alcoholism.
I would like to raise awareness of the discrete and unknown damage alcohol abuse can cause to someone, physically, mentally and socially. My aim is to help raise awareness to others about the effects of alcohol abuse and how easily it can become out of control.
I have chosen 100 push-ups a day during July as my sister would have been 41 on the 19th. Also just a handful of push-ups is a challenge on its own after having multiple injuries on my shoulders from playing rugby over the years. It will be tough but with your help and support it will be worth it!
We are not anti-alcohol - we are for alcohol change.
