Story
I’m taking on the Angkor Wat trek in Cambodia to support a place that means so much to me, Nightingale House Hospice.
Nightingale provides compassionate, specialist care for individuals and their families living with a diagnosis of a progressive and/or life-limiting illness. Not just for the patients, but for their families too. They create a space filled with dignity, comfort, and support during life’s most difficult moments. It’s something I’ve seen firsthand, as they cared for close family members and friends when it mattered most. The kindness and dedication of their team never leave you.
The reality is that services like this rely heavily on donations to continue their incredible work. Every contribution helps fund vital care, emotional support, and resources for families facing unimaginable times.
This trek is my way of giving something back. As I approach my 60th birthday, I thought there would be no better time to set myself a challenge, pushing myself both physically and mentally to help ensure others can receive the same care and compassion that meant so much to the people I love.
If you’re able to support, no matter how big or small, it truly makes a difference.
Thank you,
Gary
