Story
In September 2015, our daughter Ettie was discharged from Addenbrooke’s Hospital after being treated for Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML). She was just 7 months old when she was diagnosed, and the months that followed were the hardest of our lives.
Thanks to incredible care, pioneering research, and Ettie’s own fighting spirit, we now get to celebrate a very special milestone – 10 years since she came home. She is now 11 years old, full of energy, laughter, and determination, and we feel endlessly grateful for every single day.
To mark this milestone and give something back, I’ve set myself two epic cycling challenges in 2026, raising funds for Cure Leukaemia, a charity that is helping to change the future for patients and families facing blood cancer.
🚴♂️ Mallorca 312 – April 2026
312km (194 miles) in one day, with over 5,000m of climbing across Mallorca’s stunning but brutal mountains.
🚴♂️ London2Paris – June 2026
Four days, 500km (310 miles), and finishing under the Eiffel Tower alongside hundreds of other riders, all pedalling for the same cause.
These rides aren’t just challenges – they are a celebration of Ettie’s journey and a way of helping ensure more families can reach milestones like this.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, makes a real difference. Your support will help fund the clinical trials, research, and care that give patients hope, time, and the chance of a future.
Thank you so much for supporting me, supporting Cure Leukaemia, and most importantly, supporting families like ours.
