Story
In June 2026, over 200 cyclists will come together to take on the incredible challenge of riding 500km from London to Paris over four days — all in support of the blood cancer charity Cure Leukaemia.
This challenge will see riders of all abilities setting off from London, heading through the Kent countryside, crossing the Channel, and continuing through the landscapes of northern France, finishing in the heart of Paris.

Every 27 seconds, someone in the world is diagnosed with blood cancer. That’s why each rider is committed to raising a minimum of £1,500. The money raised will fund specialist research nurses across the UK. These nurses connect patients to pioneering clinical trials, offering access to the latest treatments and giving hope to those who need it most.

Together, these cyclists are not just riding to Paris — they’re riding to accelerate the search for a cure, support patients, and make a global impact in the fight against blood cancer.

Every 27 seconds, someone is diagnosed with a form of blood cancer across the globe.
Cure Leukaemia currently invests £1 million each year into the Trials Acceleration Programme (TAP), funding specialist research nurses across the UK, in hospitals such as Glasgow, Belfast, Cardiff, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Surrey, Nottingham, Bristol, Oxford, Southampton, and London. These centres work together to deliver world-class clinical trials for patients across a UK-wide catchment of over 30 million people.
Now, Cure Leukaemia is looking to take the next step — by establishing and funding The ATICUS Network, a first-of-its-kind paediatric Trials Acceleration Network to bring the same life-changing trial access to children and young people with blood cancer.
