Story

THANKYOU - Thanks to everyone that has sponsored me supporting the team for Orkney. The London Marathon and Europe's Toughest Mudder are complete - onwards to the World's Toughest Mudder in June.

In July 2025, we will be sending a team of swimmers to compete at the 2025 Orkney International Island Games. I have volunteered to attend as the Team Manager, and I couldn't be more excited for this incredible opportunity. The team of swimmers has worked incredibly hard to qualify for this event, and now we need your support to help cover the costs associated with their journey.

Everyone involved in this event is a volunteer, and our goal is to ensure that the swimmers can focus on doing their best in the pool with the right support and funding behind them.

To help raise funds for this amazing cause, I will be taking on several challenges this year. I've been fortunate enough to secure an entry for the London Marathon on April 27th.

Following that, I'll be competing in Europe's Toughest Mudder on May 10th in Henley—12 hours of tackling as many laps of the Tough Mudder course as possible.

The final event before the games will be participating in World's Toughest Mudder in June, which is being held in the UK for the first time. This challenge lasts 24 hours, where I'll aim to complete as many laps of the course as I can.

After returning from the games, I'll take on the Weymouth 70.3 Ironman on September 14th and finish off my season with a couple more Tough Mudders on September 20th and 21st.

The training for this is going to be challenging - but not more than the dedication the swimmers have shown to get into the team.

I invite you to join us on this journey by supporting our fundraising efforts for 'Island Games Swimming - Orkney 2025.' Your contributions will make a significant difference in helping these dedicated athletes achieve their dreams. Thank you for your generosity and encouragement!
