The International Island Games is a bi-annual sporting event that has been held since 1985. The next games will take place from 12th-18th July 2025.
A team of 9 swimmers will be representing the Isle of Wight at this years games. They have put in countless hours of training, fully supported by our team of volunteers and it is great opportunity to compete against 24 other islands from around the world.
For many swimmers this is the highest level of competition there will be a hard programme of racing across four days with two sessions of events each day.
We want to support our team as much as possible and any fundraising will help ensure we can provide the best equipment, experience and support throughout the event. The cost for the team to attend the games is in the region of £15,000 on top of the costs of training and competing as part of reaching the games.
