Hike up Mount Famau!

Heartfulness is a simple, heart-based meditation for everyone. We support millions across 160+ countries to find balance, peace, and inner transformation through meditation and yoga fostering a heart-centred lifestyle and a more united, compassionate world. All our sessions are free.

Story

Heartfulness practitioners are coming together to support the work of Heartfulness UK, raising funds to bring free relaxation and meditation sessions to more people across the UK.

The funds raised will support a wide range of free yoga and meditation sessions, organised across the country in celebration of International Day of Yoga 2026 and many events throughout the year. These sessions, held in communities, colleges, workplaces, and homes, create welcoming spaces to reduce stress, improve well-being, and support inner transformation.

We are all subject to stress and feeling challenged or lost at times. Some suffer physically, some emotionally, some materially, and some financially.

I recently attended a wellbeing festival in Shropshire with 3000 visitors, everyone I spoke to and those who attended the Heartfulness Yoga and Meditation session expressed how grateful they were and how much they needed this! Heartfulness meditation brings stillness; this stillness stays with us after practice, colouring the hours that follow, eventually becoming the foundation of daily life. This is why I am deeply grateful to Heartfulness and why we have so many volunteers willing to give their time and energy in sharing this.

This event is as much about connection and togetherness as it is about purpose: encouraging one another and enjoying the journey, which is what Heartfulness is all about! And so I am planning to raise funds and trek up the beautiful Mount Famau in Wales, along with my fellow meditators. Mount Famau is the highest summit in the Clwydian Range. Moel Famau means 'Mother Mountain' in Welsh standing at 554m (1818ft).

We ourselves have experienced first-hand the many benefits of Heartfulness meditation in our own lives—a growing sense of inner peace, resilience and calm in the midst of daily challenges, and a deeper feeling of connection with ourselves and others. By coming together in this exercise challenge, we hope to extend these benefits outward, so that more people can discover moments of stillness, a sense of belonging, and the opportunity to grow and transform inwardly.

Any little that you feel you can spare will enable our volunteers to continue offering Heartfulness meditation and yoga events free of charge.

Thank you for your support 🙏
