Story

With Great Ormond Street Hospital being GB Railfreight’s chosen charity, I feel incredibly proud to be able to play a small part in supporting the amazing work they do.

That’s why, on the 25th of July 2025, I have decided to step (or rather, jump!) out of my comfort zone—literally—and take on a skydive to help raise funds for this incredible cause.

Childhood and cancer. Two words that should never go together But every week, around five children in the UK lose their lives to cancer. Thats five families who are faced with the worst news possible. A child doesnt have to die from cancer for it to take their life. It can take away their childhood, their opportunities to learn and even to have children of their own one day.

Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers. Were already pushing the boundaries. Pioneering research is underway to find the most effective treatments and cures, which give hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSHs current cancer care facilities, and the hospital needs a new home to create breakthrough therapies which will benefit children all over the world.

Help us build the new Childrens Cancer Centre at GOSH and save more childrens lives - If you can help build it, you can help beat it.
