Last February, I set off on what was supposed to be a 3 month trip of a lifetime.

As many of you know, this horrible disease had other ideas. I had to return home within just 7 weeks, after spending nearly 3 weeks in Hospital, being treated for Sepsis.

PKD is an inherited disease, that has affected my family massively, my Mum endured 3 years of dialysis, before being lucky enough to receive a transplant.

I've decided to challenge myself to join other supporters, in doing a Sunrise walk up Snowdon.

After my families experience, I wish to raise money and awareness for this condition so that more people can have a positive future.
