Epilepsy Research UK is the only charity exclusively dedicated to driving and enabling life changing, life saving research into epilepsy. A life free from epilepsy is possible. Together we can achieve this through research.

Story

Every week 600 people are given the life-changing news that they have epilepsy. I will be raising money to support vital research to achieve a life free from epilepsy.

Tom Williams was one of these people. An intelligent, fun-loving person who lived life to the full. Sadly he was taken from us too soon, so I'm doing this hideous challenge on 6th May in his memory.

The Exmoor Maverick, 21km along the North Devon coast path and surrounding Exmoor hills. It's the type of run he would've committed to doing with me.... and then backed out last-minute!

Well this time (just like every other time) I'll smile - roll my eyes - and get on and do it by myself. Knowing I've earned the beers at the finish line, which I'll raise in his memory too.

Any donations are gratefully received.
