Geoffrey's fundraiser for Hebron via the Amos Trust

Geoffrey Marshall is raising money for Amos Trust

4 days of Cycling in Flanders with the Amos Trust · 23 May 2026

Every late May bank holiday, something happens at Amos Trust. We get on our bikes. This year we are riding in Belgium and then some of us onto the Alps, raising funds for our partners in Palestine.

Story

On 23 May I’m joining the Amos Trust Road Club tour of Flanders – about 200 miles cycling in 4 days through Belgium and France.

As Chair of the Derby Friends of Hebron I’m particularly raising money for HIRN - the Hebron International Resources Network - for which the Amos Trust acts as banker and Gift Aid collector.

HIRN supports Palestinians living near the illegal Zionist settlements. Settlers in the Hebron area are continually harassing and injuring (and occasionally killing) Palestinians, setting fire to their homes, cutting off their water and electricity supplies, destroying their crops and olive trees. HIRN – with your help and mine - supports their right to water, safe housing, free movement and education, meaning Palestinians are more likely to stay on their land and in their homes. Their existence is resistance.
