Story
Alcohol addiction has had a significant impact on my life. I’ve witnessed firsthand how difficult it is not only for the person struggling, but also for everyone who loves them. Fortunately, organizations like Alcohol Change provide crucial support that helps many people turn their lives around.
Seeing the devastating impact of alcoholism and experiencing first-hand the negative effects alcohol had on my mental health has completely changed my perspective on drinking.
This isn’t about being anti-alcohol — it’s about raising awareness for those who struggle with it. I’m not here to preach or tell anyone how to live; I just want to shine a light on an issue that affects so many people, often in silence.
Alcohol Change helps countless individuals and families by offering therapy, support groups, and resources to those in need of guidance and recovery. Their work has given hope to many who feel lost and alone in their battle with addiction.
This year, I’m running the Amsterdam Marathon on October 19th to raise awareness for alcoholism and to support the incredible work of Alcohol Change. It’s a cause that means so much to me, and I’m asking for your help to hit my target of £1,500. Every donation will go directly to providing the life-changing support that so many people need.
Please consider donating and helping give someone a chance at a better life. Your kindness can truly make a difference.
