I wanted to run and fundraise for Young Lives Matter because I have gained and been extremely grateful for the role models and mentoring I had growing up, which have inspired and spurred me on in all manner of endeavours. Through growing up on my parents Farm with deep roots in the community, we saw the value clubs and societies, with brilliant mentors and role models were able to contribute to young people’s lives, and supporting active minds, from our Family’s involvement in the Scouts to Sunday School, Orchestras to Rugby Clubs.

YMM operates in schools in Warwickshire and Coventry. YMM became its own charity in 2019, where money raised went towards training people to become mentors, which are placed in local state primary and secondary schools for free.
