George Georgiou

Parents from Ayios Nikolaos, Limassol and Milia, Famagusta, Cyprus.

It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the sudden death of our beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and God-father, George Georgiou who sadly passed away on Sunday 11th February 2024 at the age of 56.

He leaves behind his wife Joanna, children Amelia, Oliver, Filipp and Kaius, his mother Soulla (Sotiria), brother Steven, sister Andry and many relatives and friends.

George was born in North London to immigrant parents. He was a thriving man who adored his family and an accountant who loved his career. He had an incredible sense of adventure and fun and he truly lived a wonderful life. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all those who had the privilege to know him.

George's memory will be treasured and remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Rest in peace and may your memory be eternal.

The funeral service will take place on Thursday 11th April 2024 at 11.00 am at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Divine Wisdom (Hagia Sophia), Moscow Road, London W2 4LQ

followed by the wake in the cathedral crypt, onsite.

A private cremation will be held separately for immediate family only.

For anyone wishing to donate on the day, a collection box will also be available for Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital.

George's family would like to thank everyone for their support.
