Hi, I’m George and I am hoping to raise money for a very important charity - Football for Humanity. This charity uses football to educate, empower and protect children facing the threat of abuse, exploitation and violence. It supports communities affected by conflict, natural disasters and extreme poverty. They do this by building 5 a side football pitches, so children can play and connect in safe areas - using football as a tool for social change. They also work with communities to provide clean drinking water. Currently they have a project called the Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children Prevention Program (OSAEC) that educates and empowers children in the Philippines against cybersex trafficking. They also have a UK based project working with refugees and people seeking asylum. There is plenty of extra information on their website if you are interested in finding out more.
