Story
In April 2024 I received the life changing news that I have two brain tumours aged 41. It has been a crazy two years since with six operations and a lot of treatment. I have been truly blessed to have the most exceptional treatment and support of so many wonderful firends and family. I have also embraced the luck I have had to remain physically fit and have taken on two full marathons and two half marathons since. The London Marathon was truly special. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c753n7yrqdvo
I am now taking on my toughest challenge yet with the Ring O' Fire over the first weekend of September.
'The extraordinary Ring O’ Fire, a non-stop, 130-mile endurance race that will take me on an incredible journey around the stunning Isle of Anglesey, North Wales'
Three days of running and only sleeping if needed in village halls!
Think I am mad but it will all be for the amazing National Brain Appeal and I will be joined by my oldest friend, Richard Bainbridge who has been mad enough to join me.

Sadly AJ Kelly has picked up an injury so can't run but is still going to join us as support vehicle lead.

It should be a very painful but special few days and will help to raise more funds for the amazing National Brain Appeal.
It has been brilliant to have a goal to work towards and I have enjoyed 'most' of the training!
