Story
Georgia & Evieβs Swimathon for BIBS ππββοΈ
When our twin girls, Georgia and Evie, were born at just 31 weeks premature, they spent the first few weeks of their lives being cared for on the Buscot Ward neonatal unit at the Royal Berkshire Hospital.
It was an incredibly worrying time for us as a family, but the care, kindness and support we received from the amazing staff was something we will never forget. β€οΈ
Now, eight years later, Georgia and Evie have the chance to give something back. They will be taking part in the Wokingham Swimathon, swimming to raise money for BIBS (Babies in Buscot Support) β the wonderful charity that supports premature and sick newborn babies and their families on Buscot Ward.
It feels really special to see the tiny premature babies we once worried so much about now jumping into a swimming pool to raise money for the place that looked after them. π₯Ήπ
We would be incredibly grateful for any donation, however small. Every penny will help BIBS continue supporting babies and families when they need it most.
Thank you so much for supporting Georgia and Evie! πββοΈπββοΈπ
