Georgie's fundraiser for London Marathon 2026

Georgie Bramble is raising money for Friends of Reepham Primary School

London Marathon 2026 · 26 April 2026 ·

A team of parents running the London Marathon to raise funds for Friends of Reepham Primary School – supporting our children’s learning, play, and community, one mile at a time!

Story

Im running my first marathon!

I'm running the London Marathon for Reepham Primary – and I need your support!

Next April, I’ll be lacing up my trainers and taking on 26.2 miles through the streets of London – not just for the challenge (though it’s a big one!), but for a school that means a huge amount to me and my family.

Reepham Primary is a small, rural school with a giant heart. It’s a place where children are encouraged, supported, and inspired – not just in the classroom, but beyond it. But like so many schools, budgets are tight, and the PTA plays a vital role in making sure the children don’t miss out on the extras that make school joyful: art materials, school trips, wellbeing support, outdoor learning, and more.

I’ve seen first-hand the difference this fundraising makes. That’s why I’m proud to be running as part of Run for Reepham – a team of parents and supporters pushing ourselves to raise £2,000 each, all of which goes straight back to the school and the children.

I've always been a runner but only ever ventured as far as half marathons. My fitness and running journey has evolved over the last few years. Following the arrival of our second son, I have proceeded to lose weight, become a regular gym goer and as a result my running has really picked up. Lots of this running has been done along side Chris (another runner on our team), and Chris was the one that said it's time for a marathon! So with a bit of a nudge here I am.

This is going to be one heck of a challenge and a lot of training, but let's go for it!

I'm excited to be doing this for Reepham Primary School. I hope that the money we raise can really impact the school and improve the playground and learning spaces for all the children to enjoy!
