Run for Reepham
Help Us Transform Play at Reepham Primary School
A team of determined parents are taking on the challenge of a lifetime – running the London Marathon – to raise vital funds for a cause that means the world to us: upgrading the playground at Reepham Primary School.
Children spend 15–20% of their school day at break or lunch. These times of play aren’t just a pause between lessons – they’re essential for developing confidence, friendships, resilience, and creativity. Right now, our school playground is limited and in need of improvement. With your help, we want to change that – for every child, in every year group.
As one of our runners shares,
I want to run for Friends of Reepham Primary School because I care about creating a positive and enriching environment for our children... This will be so beneficial to their experience and the quality of facilities at the school.
This marathon isn’t just about running 26.2 miles. It’s about doing something meaningful for our children, our school, and our community.
Given working hours, I’m not often able to do ‘drop off’ or ‘pick up’ – so to be able to do something for the school and the wider community in a town we’ve called home for nearly 10 years is fantastic.
We’re proud that this effort is deeply personal for each of us.
My daughter is the fourth generation girl to attend Reepham Primary School. I wanted the chance to fundraise for something local that will benefit her and our community.
Every donation goes directly to the playground upgrade – helping create a space that supports movement, imagination, inclusion, and joy for every child.
Please support us as we take on this huge challenge, powered by our passion for our school, our kids, and our town. With your help, we can go the distance – and build a playground worthy of our amazing children.
