Story
On Sunday 5th October, I am taking part in the 2025 MBNA Chester Marathon to raise funds for 2 charities; Epilepsy Action and the Tongole Foundation.
My brother was diagnosed with Tonic-Clonic Epilepsy in 2024. This type of epilepsy is characterized by seizures that involve both stiffening (tonic phase) and jerking (clonic phase) of the muscles. It can be a challenging condition that requires careful medical management, lifestyle adjustments, and ongoing support.
Raising money for Epilepsy Action directly supports people with epilepsy and their families, improving their quality of life and advocating for better services and understanding. You can make a real difference by helping Epilepsy Action provide crucial resources and support, raise awareness, and campaign for better healthcare and social inclusion.
