Having completed their first Mighty Convoy trip to Ukraine at the end of February 2026, Gill and Yani have decided they want to commit to doing another trip to Ukraine as soon as funds and schedules allow. The funds raised are used to buy ambulances and trucks that are then filled with URGENTLY NEEDED and CRITICAL medical supplies. We will then drive these vehicles and supplies from London to Lviv in Ukraine to hand over to the Christian Medical Association Ukraine for distribution.
The trip in February highlighted the URGENT need for ongoing support in Ukraine. Meetings with the partner charity and military professionals indicated that the situation is WORSENING all the time and the vehicles brought by the Mighty Convoy team and supporters are invaluable in helping rescue and save casualties at the front line.
We also were made aware of how CRITICAL protecting Ukraine is to the stability and safety of Europe. Since our visit, the war in Iran has started and risks taking the focus off the Ukraine/Russian war. It is imperative that this is not allowed to happen for the safety of Europe and global democracy.
February 2026 marked the 4 year anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the subsequent war and devastation of the country. Last year saw the greatest number of Ukrainian deaths & casualties since the war started as well as increased targeted missile/drone attacks on Ukrainian hospitals and warehouses. Two attacks in the last quarter of 2025 alone saw $200m of medical supplies destroyed.
It is our hope that we can keep this dreadful humanitarian crisis at the forefront of people minds.
Mighty Convoy has been bringing vehicles and urgently needed medical supplies to the Ukraine for the last four years.
