Story
Less than two years ago, I was discovered to have a Stage 2 breast cancer in my right breast. Fortunately it was caught early and whilst i am still undergoing adjuvant treatment, I feel i am one of the lucky ones (so far). The surgery though is just the beginning. I was just one of 56,000 women diagnosed that year. Breast Cancer Now is a brilliant charity offering a range of services, from funding research to online forums, speakers and information. Indeed the Breast Cancer now forum saved my sanity at times and I still check in from time to time, sometimes now to support others.
On Sept 24th I will join a group of brilliant women and embark on a topless open (very cold) water swim to raise funds for this amazing charity. Your support would be very much appreciated.
