Story
Hi there everyone. I wouldn't normally ask for any sponsorship for the crazy things that I do in my life however the National Coal Mining Museum in Yorkshire have asked me to ask you on their behalf.
My original plan was just going to be to walk across the hot coals for a bit of an excitement on a Wednesday evening! However they have told me about the hard times that the museum is currently experiencing and every penny counts!
I'm stepping onto hot coals at the National Coal Mining Museum to support a story that shaped generations. This challenge represents strength, resilience, and courage — the same qualities shown by coal mining communities whose lives and livelihoods were built underground.
By taking part in this firewalk, I’m helping to raise funds to preserve the powerful history of coal mining and ensure these stories are not forgotten. Every donation supports the Museum’s work to honour the people, communities, and sacrifices that helped power the world.
Thank you for supporting me and helping to keep this vital heritage alive.
