I'm walking 28k along the Thames Path to raise money for 50 Million Voices, where I am the finance and operations lead.

Fluency bias prevails in many workplaces, and stuttering is still regarded as an inferior and unacceptable way of speaking. Consequently, for millions of people who stutter, a job interview is a huge barrier.

At 50MV, we place a big focus on interviews because jobs have a big effect on the quality of our lives – not only economically and socially, but also in how it affects our mental, physical and emotional health.

This is where 50 Million Voices comes in!

Our Practice Interview events have already helped hundreds of people who stutter from almost 40 countries to improve their interview skills and confidence. They’ve also helped many employers to embrace stuttering-inclusive mindsets and interviewing skills.
