Hello this is Giudi this July, I’m running a 10k to raise money for Da’aro Youth Project, a charity that’s all about supporting young asylum seekers and refugees from the Horn of Africa, many of whom arrive in the UK on their own, with no family, and having been through so much already.

Da’aro gives them a place to feel safe, make friends, share a meal, and just take a break from all the stress of trying to settle in a new country. They also help with all the practical stuff like housing, family reunification, and school.

I’m fundraising because I believe everyone deserves a fair shot at feeling safe, happy, and supported, no matter where they’ve come from or what they’ve been through. Da’aro makes that happen, and I want to help them keep going.
