We’re a London-based hiking group bringing people together one trail at a time.

From coastal walks to countryside views, we explore a new hike every month – and you help choose the spot. Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or just getting started, you’re welcome at Hike & Seek.

This July, five members of our group – Temesgen, Sarah, Semhar, Giudi and Adonay – are taking on the London 10K run to raise funds for a cause close to our hearts: Da’aro Youth Project.

Da’aro supports young asylum seekers from the Horn of Africa, offering vital services like casework, housing support, and help with education and family reunification. At the heart of their work is Injera Club, a weekly youth centre where young people can relax, eat a hot meal, and find a sense of belonging.

As a team made up of – but not limited to – members of the Habesha community, we know how important it is for young people to feel seen, supported, and safe. Many of us have personal or family experiences of migration, and we stand with Da’aro in their mission to help young people rebuild their lives in the UK.
