Story
Join me on an inspiring journey as I participate in the "Paddle & Hike" challenge on 26th July 2026, to support HEADWAY WORCESTERSHIRE.
This incredible one-day adventure begins with an exhilarating canoe trip from Kerne Bridge to the breathtaking valley at Symonds Yat. Covering a distance of 8 miles, this part of the challenge will take approximately 3 hours, allowing us to connect with nature and appreciate the beauty around us.
The second phase of our journey involves a scenic hike from Symonds Yat rapids to King Arthur's Cave and onward to Symonds Yat Rock, ultimately returning to the rapids. This hike will also take about 3 hours and offers a chance to witness local wildlife, including majestic buzzards, Canada geese, and perhaps even a Peregrine falcon or a kingfisher! Each step we take not only brings us closer to our goal but also highlights the importance of supporting those affected by brain injuries.
As we conclude our day at the Royal Lodge Hotel with a well-deserved drink and meal, I invite you to reflect on the impact your support can have.
Your generous donations will directly benefit HEADWAY WORCESTERSHIRE, helping them provide vital services for individuals and families affected by brain injuries.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast, and secure; your details are safe with them. Together, let’s make a difference—every contribution counts towards reaching our target of £1,000 for this worthy cause.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and for considering supporting this important mission.
