From 14th to 17th May 2025 I will be participating in a team cycle ride from the Greenwich Observatory in London to the Eiffel Tower in Paris to raise money for the Feltmakers' Charitable Foundation and the charities they will be supporting. Of these, I will be riding to support Brain Tumour Research, in memory of our dear friend Karen Hart, who so sadly died earlier this year from glioblastoma multiforme, an incurable and aggressive form of brain cancer.

Brain Tumour Research is the only national charity in the UK focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours through campaigning to increase the national investment in brain tumour research to £35 million per year, while fundraising to create a network of seven sustainable Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence across the UK.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this.
