Team fundraising for The Feltmakers Charitable Foundation

Raising money for The Feltmakers Charitable Foundation

Story

From 14th to 18th May 2025 I will be participating in a team cycle ride from the Greenwich Observatory in London to the Eiffel Tower in Paris to raise money for the Feltmakers' Charitable Foundation and the charities they will be supporting, SSAFA, The Armed Forces Charity, The Clocktower Foundation and Brain Tumour Research.

SSAFA provides support for both regulars and reserves in the Royal Navy, the Royal Marines, the British Army and the Royal Air Force and their families, including anyone who has completed National Service

SSAFA helps the armed forces community in a number of ways, though their focus is on providing direct support to individuals in need of physical or emotional care, helping to deal with problems which only become apparent when an individual has to leave their life in the Forces and join ‘Civvy Street’. SSAFA is committed to helping our brave men and women overcome these problems, and rebuild their lives.

The Clocktower Foundation promotes the efficiency of the Armed Forces of the Crown, and in particular the HQ Hereford Garrison, making grants and providing services to Regiment members and their families. The Foundation exists to advance the health and human performance of serving personnel, and to give support to initiatives which add to community cohesion.

Brain Tumour Research is the only national charity in the UK focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours through campaigning to increase the national investment in brain tumour research to £35 million per year, while fundraising to create a network of seven sustainable Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence across the UK.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this.

Please give generously to support these great Charities so that they can continue to do the vital work to improve people's health and wellbeing.

Thank you!

Jeremy
