Story

Last year I completed 3 marathons and 12 half marathons whilst carrying a washing machine all in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital, raising £5,700 for all the great work that they do for families like mine.

During 2024 I will attempt to exceed last year’s runs and donations, whilst including some unusual and more challenging endeavours.

Back in 2008 my son Jacob was born, joy shortly turned to despair when Jacob fell gravely ill.

When our local GP's and hospital specialists could not diagnose the right treatment, Great Ormond Street Hospital stepped in and started our roller-coaster journey to recovery.

From 6 months old, Jacob was an outpatient at Great Ormond Street Hospital for 8 years, which would require us as a family to travel to London every four months.

Now 14 years old Jacob is strong, healthy and to my embarrassment, can outrun his old man easily.

Please only donate if you can afford to do so.

You can always promote my endeavor across your social media platforms to generate further interest.

Either way, both Great Ormond Street Hospital and I thank you for your support.
