Graham's fundraiser for North West Air Ambulance

Graham Hill is raising money for North West Air Ambulance

Pendle Hill Challenge 68

The charity's three helicopters and four rapid response vehicles operate 365 days a year, with doctors and paramedics on board providing enhanced prehospital care to people across the entire North West region.

Story

Hi, I would appreciate you giving just 1 minute of your time to fully read this post.

In the past few years both my Step-Daughter, Grace and Grandson, Harry have had the need of the North West Air Ambulance, one of the occasions being a potential life or death situation.

The Air Ambulance receives NO funding the NHS and relies solely on donations too keep helicopters flying to accidents and emergencies across the NorthWest.

With that in mind I have set myself a challenge, in mid September I will reach the age of 67 (no this is not a request for a card and present!!!). I plan to hike to the summit of Pendle Hill 68 times in the forthcoming year. I appreciate some may think this is not a particularly big challenge, but for those that know me you will be aware I’m not in the UK for a good chunk of the year so I am looking roughly at twice a week for a year.

I have raised this JustGiving page to accept donations to help me on my way. I will be posting regular updates as the challenge progresses. If you could support me by way of a donation, however small, either at the start, during or prefer to wait until I have done all 68 that’s fine.

P.S. Just for info poor Sid will probably have to do most of the hikes with me!!
