Graham Watson is raising money for St Catherine’s Hospice (Crawley)

3 Peaks Challenge

We’re there for people in Sussex and East Surrey, with expert hospice care, when and where they need us most. Our care is only possible thanks to the generosity of our local community who donate to and volunteer with us. Community support means we’re there when life comes full circle.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This year, with my work colleagues at Acron Aviation, I am taking on the 3 Peaks Challenge, climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales - all within about 30 hours. We start by trekking to the highest point in the UK - Ben Nevis, standing at 4,413 feet. Having 'bagged that Munro', we will be driven to the Lake District to take on Scafell Pike (2,949 feet) through the night. A short nap later we will be at the foot of Snowdon to complete the challenge, climbing another 2,329 feet. All in all, we will be trekking for about 15 hours, climbing over 9,600 feet and walking approximately 21 miles.

I am fundraising for St Catherine’s Hospice in Crawley; a local charity with a big ambition – to make sure nobody faces death and loss alone. The hospice relies on donations to offer pioneering end of life care and support to people in Sussex and East Surrey. Any donation you can give will mean a lot to me and make a direct difference to families facing terminal illness. St Catherine’s has never needed our support more.
