Walking 26 Miles for Great Ormond Street Hospital
On 11 July 2026, we’re taking on a 26-mile coastal trek to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity – a charity that does life-changing work for seriously ill children and their families.
Why we’re doing it:
Every day, Great Ormond Street Hospital cares for children facing complex and serious conditions, supporting not just patients but their families through incredibly challenging times. For many, that support makes all the difference.
This cause is especially close to our hearts. Our team chose GOSH as our Charity of the Year following the personal experience of one of our own colleagues, who saw first-hand the impact the hospital has on families navigating incredibly difficult circumstances;
Like many parents, you never really think you’ll be the ones to personally get to know somewhere like Great Ormond Street, but we’ll be forever grateful for the support they’ve given our family during our son’s open-heart surgeries, not only the incredible medical professionals, but also the wider support provided, such as accommodation so we could stay close to the hospital, and play activities for Josh’s sister, making unimaginably scary situations feel more manageable.

Our challenge:
We’ll be walking up to 26 miles along the Norfolk coast in a single day – pushing ourselves physically and mentally to raise as much as we can.
Some of us will take on the full distance, others half – but every step is for the same goal: supporting a cause that truly matters.
