Story
Will my wife, Charlotte, shave her head? STAY TUNED. Hello again from the Feist-Weiller Cancer Center. We are so close to beginning construction on the McDade House. McDade House will be a hospitality house for cancer patients of Ochsner LSU. Many of our patients, particularly in our bone marrow transplant program, have to be in town for an extended period of time after they are discharged from the hospital.
Last year I had two weeks to raise $3,000 and raised just over $5,000. This year my goal is $25,000. I will shave my head again this year but my amazing wife, Charlotte, has agreed (willingly and happily) to shave her head when we hit the $25,000 mark. This means I need every single one of you to drop a few bucks for this. For perspective , I need 500 people to each donate $50 or more. I’m asking for $100-200 if you can make it happen and am thankful for anything you can do (even $10 helps)
Last year I sent out one email to work colleagues, one email to friends and family and one Facebook post. This year you will hear from me more than once because this cause is so important.
