Help Nic and Susan raise funds for the Norfolk Superhero Fund - getting children active in Norfolk!
This year, we are incredibly lucky to have secured a last minute place in the Norfolk Superhero event! 💪
The Norfolk Superhero is a charity quadrathlon taking place on 20th June at Burnham Overy Staithe on the beautiful North Norfolk coast. It’s a true test of endurance, with teams of two completing a course that includes:
🏊♂️ 1 mile swim
🛶 4 mile kayak through the creeks
🚴♂️ 45 mile cycle route
🏃♂️ 8 mile beach run to the finish
Teams must stay together throughout, supporting each other every step of the way.
Back in our earlier days Nic was known as “Greyhound” and Susan as 'Hippo', so together we’ve named our team: Greyhound’s Racing, Hippo’s Grazing! 🐕🦛 Hippo does like a snack!
Even better, all participants are raising money for Norfolk Community Foundation’s A Better Childhood mission, helping to get children across Norfolk more active.
If you’d like to support us, we’d be hugely grateful for any donation via the link. We completely understand that times are tough, so any support—big or small—really does mean a lot.
Thank you! 🙏
Why it matters:
Across Norfolk, too many children are missing out on the chance to enjoy active, healthy lives.
• 1 in 5 children leave primary school obese
• 8% have a diagnosed mental health need
• 1 in 3 can't swim
The Norfolk Superhero Fund is here to change that.
How your support helps
Every mile we swim, paddle, cycle and run together helps open doors for children who might otherwise be left behind. From coaching and kit to activities and accessible equipment, the Norfolk Superhero Fund helps local children get active in their communities.
Be part of the impact
By sponsoring us to take on the Norfolk Superhero Challenge, you’re helping to build a future where more young people in Norfolk can be active, confident and connected!
