Ramadan is the most blessed time to give. With that spirit, we are beginning early with our fundraising launch, knowing that the reward for charity is multiplied in this sacred month. Allah SWT knows every person’s circumstances. Give whatever you are able—whether small or large—because every donation carries immense value and every contribution counts.

On the blessed Night of Laylatul Qadr, we will also hold a special fundraiser and share details of the work that lies ahead

We hope this long ago taken video will reflect how far we have come as a community and as a family. Insha’Allah, it will also show the incredible potential of what we can achieve together in the future.

For over 18 years, the Weelsby Road Mosque has served the community of Grimsby and the surrounding area, including towns/villages like Cleethorpes, Waltham, Louth, Horncastle, Brigg and many, many more. What you see today did not appear overnight; it was built through unity and your generosity.

Our mosque is more than a building.

It is:

• A place of prayer

• A place of teaching

• A place of safety

• A place of community

• A place for our children’s future

… and so much more.

Behind the scenes, there are constant responsibilities:

• Maintenance and repairs

• Renovations and improvements

• Teaching, youth development and educational programs

• Utilities and essential running costs

• Supplies and day to day needs

• Cleaning

These costs continue throughout the year. As our community grows, the needs of our mosque grow with it.

Once again, Ramadan reminds us that charity is multiplied and rewarded beyond measure. Give what you can, from the heart, for the sake of Allah.

This is your mosque. Your community. Your House of Allah.
