This Ramadan, we turn to our community with a sincere request.

Ramadan is the best time to give. The reward of charity is multiplied. Allah knows everyone is in a different position. Give what you can — small or large — every donation counts.

The Islamic Association of South Humberside has served Grimsby for over 18 years. What you see today did not happen overnight. It was built with sacrifice, unity and generosity.

Our mosque is more than a building. It is:

• A place of prayer

• A place of teaching

• A place of safety

• A place of community

• A place for our children’s future

Behind the scenes there are constant responsibilities:

• Maintenance and repairs

• Security and protection

• Renovations and improvements

• Teaching and youth development

• Utilities and running costs

These costs never stop.

As our community grows, the needs grow with it.
