By Guru Sahib’s Kirpa, Gurdwara Sahib Banbury has served the local Sangat for over 35 years from a converted three-bedroom house, with the main Darbar Sahib situated upstairs in the loft area.

As the Sangat has grown, our current premises have become increasingly limited. By Guru Sahib’s Kirpa, we are delighted to announce that our bid to purchase a new, larger property has been accepted.

We now need your support to turn this property into a fully functioning Gurdwara Sahib.

The building requires significant work and new facilities, including: (i) a Langar Hall and kitchen,
(ii) a suitable Darbar Sahib, (iii) classrooms for Punjabi and Gurmat education, (iv) facilities for children, youth and elderly Sangat, and (v) other essential works needed to make the building suitable for the Sangat

This is an important opportunity to establish a permanent spiritual, educational and community hub for Sikhs in Banbury and the surrounding area, serving both the present Sangat and future generations.

We humbly appeal to the wider Sangat to support this Guru Ka Kaaraj through your Daswandh and donations. Every contribution will go towards establishing and developing the new Gurdwara Sahib.

ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਾ ਖਾਲਸਾ, ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕੀ ਫਤਹਿ।

ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ, ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਬੈਨਬਰੀ ਪਿਛਲੇ 35 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਸੰਗਤ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਇੱਕ ਤਿੰਨ ਬੈੱਡਰੂਮ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੱਖ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਲਾਫਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਸੰਗਤ ਵਧਦੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਹੁਣ ਬਹੁਤ ਘੱਟ ਪੈ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਨਵੀਂ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਇਮਾਰਤ ਖਰੀਦਣ ਲਈ ਸਾਡੀ ਬੋਲੀ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

ਹੁਣ ਇਸ ਇਮਾਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਾਰਜਸ਼ੀਲ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸੰਗਤ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ।

ਇਮਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਫੀ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ — ਲੰਗਰ ਹਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਰਸੋਈ ਬਣਾਉਣੀ ਹੈ, ਉਚਿਤ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਮਤ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਕਲਾਸਰੂਮ ਬਣਾਉਣੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ, ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਸੰਗਤ ਲਈ ਸੁਵਿਧਾਵਾਂ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਹੋਰ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਕੰਮ ਵੀ ਕਰਨੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਇਮਾਰਤ ਸੰਗਤ ਲਈ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਯੋਗ ਬਣ ਸਕੇ।

ਇਹ ਬੈਨਬਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਨੇੜਲੇ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਮੌਕਾ ਹੈ — ਇੱਕ ਸਥਾਈ ਰੂਹਾਨੀ, ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਮਿਊਨਿਟੀ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦਾ, ਜੋ ਅੱਜ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਅਤੇ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਪੀੜੀਆਂ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ।

ਅਸੀਂ ਨਿਮਰ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਵੱਡੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਇਸ ਗੁਰੂ ਕਾ ਕਾਰਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਦਸਵੰਧ ਅਤੇ ਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦੇਵੇ। ਹਰ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਨਵੇਂ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਵੱਲ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਸ ਅਪੀਲ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ, ਦੋਸਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕਰੋ।

ਸੰਗਤ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ, ਅਸੀਂ ਆਸ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਉਡੀਕਿਆ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਹੁਣ ਹਕੀਕਤ ਬਣੇਗਾ।

ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਹਰ ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦੇਣ ਜੋ ਇਸ ਸੇਵਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਚੜਦੀ ਕਲਾ ਬਣੀ ਰਹੇ।
