Story
On 1st February 2026, I’ll be running 10k with my sister, Georgina, for Dry January in support of Alcohol Change UK.
After an incredibly hard year, I found myself relying on alcohol as a way to cope with everything that was happening around me. Making the decision to stop, reflect, and challenge that habit has been a huge step for my wellbeing and I am ready more than anyone to prove myself wrong in 2026.
Moving back home with my mum has given me the space, support, and perspective I needed to reset and focus on healthier ways of dealing with life’s challenges. Even though it has been the hardest thing I have had to deal with.
This run isn’t just about the distance — it’s about proving to myself that positive change is possible, and raising awareness and funds to help others who may be going through the same as me.
I just want to thank everyone who has supported me and have been patient with me over the last few years, you know who you are.
Any donation is welcome xx
