Marcie is trying to raise money for the Bumblebee Conservation trust to support their work looking after the bees. As part of this, Marcie is hoping to raise enough so that her school can apply for a ‘bumblebee friendly schools’ award.

We’ll be making some bee crafts and wildflower seed balls, selling to our friends, neighbours and at her school fair.

The UK has lost 97% of wildflower meadows in the last century. This devastating loss of habitat, combined with climate change and exposure to pesticides, means bumblebees are struggling to survive. Two bumblebee species have become extinct, and a further eight species require urgent and targeted conservation.

But it doesn't have to be this way. By supporting my ‘Pollin8 Challenge’ and donating to the Bumblebee Conservation Trust, you will be helping to:
