Story

Why I'm Fundraising for Lancashire TAAG

I'm proud to be supporting Lancashire TAAG, a small but mighty charity that makes a huge difference to the lives of neurodivergent children and young people across our community.

TAAG creates a safe space where children with autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, and other additional needs can just be themselves. There’s no pressure to “fit in” – just opportunities to play, move, connect, and grow in confidence.

Now, TAAG is working on its most ambitious project yet – building a dedicated indoor climbing wall.

Climbing is a powerful activity. It builds strength, improves coordination, teaches focus, and most importantly, boosts self-esteem. For many of TAAG’s young people, it’s a fun and therapeutic outlet that helps with anxiety, emotional regulation, and confidence.

But this wall isn’t just for TAAG. It will also be made available to:

✅ Local Scout & Guide groups

✅ Youth groups and cadets

✅ Home ed communities

✅ SEN schools
