100km Jurassic Coast Challenge – May 16th, 2026
Hi everyone! My name’s Hannah, and on May 16th, 2026, I’ll be taking on a 100km continuous walk along the Jurassic Coast alongside my close friends Megan, Cam, and four others. Together, we’re raising money for a charity that means so much to us all — Keep Me Close (Derriford NICU).
Many of you will already know a bit about Megan and Cam’s story. In February 2023, they welcomed their beautiful daughter Remi Beau, who had a very difficult start to life and spent her first two weeks in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Derriford Hospital. Thanks to the incredible staff and the support of the Keep Me Close charity, Megan and Cam were able to stay just moments away from Remi during the scariest days of their lives.
Now, nearly three years on, Remi is a strong, determined little girl living with cerebral palsy and epilepsy — but she’s full of life, courage, and smiles. 💛
Watching what Megan, Cam, and Remi went through has shown me just how important the Keep Me Close Fund is. The charity provides accommodation and support for families with babies in NICU — helping parents stay close to their little ones when they need them most. Without this charity, many families would face being hours away from their babies during the hardest moments imaginable.
So, to show my support and gratitude for everything the staff and charity do, I’ll be walking 100 kilometres non-stop along the Jurassic Coast — every step for the tiniest fighters and their amazing families.
This challenge will definitely test me (and my feet!), but it’s nothing compared to the strength shown by those babies and their parents.
We’re walking to keep them close — one step, one smile, and one kilometre at a time. 💛
Any donation, big or small, would mean the world and help more families stay close to their little ones when it matters most.
With love and thanks,
Hannah 🤍
