Hannah's fundraiser for Stroke Association

Hannah Fry is raising money for Stroke Association

31 minutes in May · 1 May 2026 ·

Challenge yourself to do 31 minutes of exercise - any exercise you like - every day in May and raise money to help stroke survivors find strength through support.

Story

Every day, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke.

My husband is one of those people - he has had two strokes, the first in 2021 and the second in August 2025.

With strength, determination and the right support, recovery is possible but stroke recovery is a marathon - not a sprint - and the impact to the whole family shouldnt be underestimated.

The Stroke Association is the leading charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Our local Stroke Association group provided us with invaluable support when David first returned home from hospital - and continue to be on hand for advice and a shoulder to cry on.

Run by volunteers and funded by the generosity of supporters and donors like you.

Sadly NHS support falls away after the first 6 weeks on returning home from hospital and therefore the Stroke Association fills an important gap.

Every family should be supported through a loved one having a stroke - so please give generously ♥️
